Setup to first costed invoice

Five steps. One afternoon.

01

Load your backbar

Import shades from the 1,148-product catalogue, or add your own. Each product carries container size, unit, density and wholesale cost — that's all MixMargin needs to know what a gram costs you.

02

Set your markup once

A default markup and a waste factor for tube residue, plus per-brand markup overrides if your Olaplex shouldn't price like your developer. Settings show a live example: a $10.00 bowl invoices at $15.00.

mixmargin · settingsMarkup 0–200%, waste factor 0–10%.
03

Mix the ticket in grams

Open a ticket for the client, add bowls, weigh in. Every gram you add updates the bowl cost and the price your markup implies — while the client is still in the chair.

Complete the session

One button saves the formula to the client's history, records any leftover grams as waste, and deducts what you mixed from backbar stock. An invoice can be generated from the ticket with the colour charges already itemised.

Read the profit

Reports recompute cost, revenue, profit and grams mixed from the same engine that priced the bowls. Grams by brand tells you where the backbar money actually goes.
